the Galenic Days in Saint-Rémy de Provence

Scientific exchanges to share knowledge

The Galenic Days have been held every year for more than 40 years in the Mas Bellile in Saint-Rémy de Provence, in the south of France. They symbolize the Company's policy of openness to, and knowledge-sharing with, the whole international pharmaceutical scientific community.

These days gather worldwide industry professionals, researchers and academic people around a current theme and enable the production of publications accessible to the scientific community.

The Galenic Days in Saint-Rémy June 2009 were held under the sponsorship of the National Academy of Medicine. They dealt with the new challenges in paediatric drugs development. Scientists have underlined for a long time the need to solve different matters related to the formulation of drugs especially targeted for children.

The 44th Days, to be held in June 2010, will address Aromatherapy as it is today, but more importantly as it will be—with specific uses to meet the need for supplementary therapeutic applications that provide better health balance. The programme will bring together an authoritative panel of experts who will endeavour to respond to some of today's issues and questions, covering the latest ideas and findings in basic and clinical research.
